I mainly chose to take mid body shots or face close ups to follow the codes and conventions of the 'Vibe' magazine. I love when the model makes serious facials because it shows that women are strong. The clothing adds on to the hip-hop theme of the magazine.








High-end clothing worn by the model portrays the magazine as sophisticated. Low- angles allow the model to look powerful and the model's pose shows confidence and strength.








I wanted to keep the whole hip-hop/ R&B theme going but after not planning correctly for my photo shoot, I had to take extra pictures in short amount of time. Therefore, the clothing of the model in the second shoot didn't match as well with the pictures of the first shoot. Instead of redoing another photo shoot to fix the second one, I decided to just change the overall theme of my magazine and for this 'edition' it will be focusing on women's influence on Hip Hop. The magazine will portray women as powerful influential individuals among the Hip Hop culture.
