The color theme that I'm going to use for my magazine is going to be neutral. At first I wanted to make my magazine colorful. However, after doing research I found that the 'Vibe' magazine uses darker colors so I decided to shift towards darker colors to meet the codes and conventions of the 'Vibe' magazine. I recreated the main cover by using a black backdrop to draw all the attention to the main subject of the magazine. The black backdrop will also help allow the font and color of the masthead and the rest of the anchors to stand out.

For the table of contents, I will use a similar picture to the main cover to follow the codes and conventions of the magazine I picked. The title "table of contents" will be in all caps with a san-serif font in white to make a good contrast between the text and the background of the cover. Descriptions under each sub-heading will also be in a white san-serif font. However, just like the 'Vibe' magazine, I will change the color font for the numbers to bright orange to maintain the color theme of my magazine. Instead of the 'V' at the top of the page I will use a 'D' because my magazine is called Dope but it's going to stay white like the rest of the text because that was best fitted for my cover.
