Feature spread analysis (12/6)

The features page looks similar to the table of contents. It always has an artist mainly from the hip-hop or r&b culture. The images are usually mid to full body shots. The artists are wearing high-end clothing, which helps portray the magazine as sophisticated. They also show serious faces to show that the magazine is based on facts.
At the top of the page there's a V to remind the reader that they are reading 'vibe' magazine and it also has small lines to keep the theme of the magazine consistent.

The word 'features' is in a serif formal font but the rest of the text is in a sans-serif font. This helps the title stand out. The main sub-headings are in block letters to also make them stand out, making it easier for the reader to find a specific topic. Specific key words are in italics or in caps to call the attention of the reader and let them know that what they are reading is going to have to do with those words.
The color of the title is different from the rest of the text to also help make it stand out and let the reader know that the rest of the text is going to be about that specific topic.
Next to each page number there's a subtitle in bold and next to them there's names of the people being featured in the text.
Under the picture there's small captions that let the reader know who was the photographer, stylist and creator of the page.
